City Girls Personify Nonchalant Bliss In New “Act Up” Video [WATCH]

by Derrius Edwards

As reported by Miles McCollum with QC News, the governor has canceled Spring Break for everyone in Miami as the City Girls #ActUpChallenge has unleashed a slew of uncontrolled elation that has taken the city by storm.

As the summer has started to peek over the horizon, City Girls have finally unveiled the visual treatment to their charting record “Act Up“.

The music video encompasses a montage of multiple renditions to fans version of the viral hashtag challenge playing for the duration of the song, as Yung Miami flaunts throughout the Miami streets with an insouciant demeanor.

News took the internet by surprise once it was discovered that Lil Yachty was responsible for some portions of the catchy tune, and that has been reflected in the video via what appears to be an impromptu, yet humorous verse-suggestion mid-song.

As referenced in the slipshod decree of an empowering chorus, “Act up, you can get smashed up/Dirty ass nails, baby girl you need to back up“, it’s apparent there’s a willful desire to highlight the importance of personal space as it relates to hygiene.

More importantly, act accordingly or deal with the ramifications that follow suit, period.

Overall, this video has been long awaited and was released right on time considering the pool-side vibes are highly desirable and yearned for.

It’s officially Act Up Season.
