Ciara has reportedly dropped her $15 million defamation lawsuit against Future.
Today, Ciara’s lawyer, Larry Stein, filed legal documents dismissing the remaining libel claim against Future. It would’ve been nice to see Ciara and Future put their differences behind them and co-parent efficiently, but unfortunately, that’s not the case here, and it’s definitely not the reason CiCi dropped the lawsuit.
Apparently, the 30 year old “Oh” singer is doing well for herself, and is making too much money to claim damages. Originally, Ciara claimed that Future’s attack’s against her on social media caused her to take a number of financial losses. But in order to win a defamation lawsuit, the victim has to prove that they have suffered financially, and CiCi has been unable to prove that.
Despite all of the drama, Ciara was recently named Revlon’s newest brand ambassador. Go Ci-Ci!
