Chris Brown is facing another lawsuit.
Back in 2014, Breezy was hosting an MTV VMAs pre-show party at 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood, California when things took a turn for the worse. A gunman opened fire, injuring several victims, including Suge Knight who sustained six gunshot wounds to the abdomen, chest, and left forearm. Knight is suing Brown, claiming that the shooting could have been prevented if Brown and the venue had been equipped with proper security.
Now, a second victim, Ginja Elms, has come forward, and is suing Brown for the same incident, claiming the singer is responsible for his injuries. Elms says that 1OAK was fully aware of Breezy’s gang affiliations, and that security should have patted down every single person who entered the venue.
Elms is also suing Pia Mia, who hosted the night’s event with Brown. Overall, Elms is seeking more than $750,000 in damages. Elms has stated that the incident has caused “disruption in his relationship with his wife”.
