Chris Brown refuses to allow the media to get the best of him.
Yesterday, shocking photos of Chris Brown with his hands around a woman’s neck surfaced. The photos, which were snapped by paparazzi, caused quite a stir on social media. After assaulting Rihanna in 2009, fans were enraged to see Brown with his hands on another woman.
But according to Brown, he didn’t assault the woman, who happens to be his friend. Instead, he says they were just horsing around with a group of friends. The woman has also confirmed that she and Chris were just having innocent fun.
Today, via Instagram, Brown released a statement addressing the incident, “THANKS for all the publicity today. Y’all know damn well I ain’t going down that road. There is no need to even defend myself on the matter. Everyone that’s around (girl/guy) are my HOMIES. NO FOUL PLAY… NO IGNORANT S**T. END of discussion. LOVE.”
Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, stated the following, “She’s a friends. It’s obviously playful, as she confirmed. Whoever invaded their privacy will be held accountable.”
