At only 20 years old, Chicago rapper Chief Keef has decided to call it quits with his career. This may be shocking news to us, but according to Keef, this is something that he’s chosen to do because too many rappers are biting his style.

A couple of days ago on Twitter a fan questioned Keef about the delay in his music writing, “Did you forget you were a rapper ?? You wayuyyyy behind on music drop something.” Keef nonchalantly responded with, “I’m retired you didn’t know? To many n*ggas sound jus like me or saying sh*t like almighty would 😂.” It’s unclear how long Keef has been retired.

Unsatisfied with Sosa’s response, the fan wrote back, “FINNA HAVE SHOOTOUT @ MY SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU RETIRING.” Sosa then proceeded to tell the fan to do otherwise and seek a career as basketball player, lawyer, or a doctor. All in all, the “Macaroni Time” emcee recommended that the fan become anything but a rapper or a scammer. Do you think that Keef has completely thrown in the towel on his career?

In 2015, Keef released four projects, including two official albums, Bang 3 and Bang 3 Part 2.

Sosa isn’t the only rapper to call out copy cats. At a recent performance in New York, Future sent out a message to rapper’s cramping his style stating, “I’m the Plug. I’ma let y’all n*ggas know, it’s only one Future in this motherf*cker and I’m really the plug, really.”
