Bandman Kevo has been sentenced to 22 months in federal prison.

Back in 2014, Bandman Kevo was arrested and charged with bank fraud. The “Baller In Me” rapper allegedly stole $639,000 from banks in a credit card scheme called “cracking cards”. After months of going back and forth to court, Kevo eventually pled guilty on January 5 to one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud.

On Tuesday, Kevo received his sentencing – 22 months in federal prison. The judge has given him 30 days to turn himself. Authorities charged 28 other defendants, but Kevo has denied being connected to the them. Kevo stated, “I don’t know a lot of them people at all. They were just saying that it was twenty-nine people that got arrested for the same thing. They didn’t say that we were in connection.”

When asked how he will keep his music career afloat from behind bars, Kevo responded, “I will do everything possible to stay relevant. Twenty two months will fly and I will be back better than ever and on my cocky sh*t.”

As part of his plea deal, Kevo has agreed to pay $141,919 in restitution. Also, he had a 2004 Audi, as well as a 2006 Maserati that were were forfeited to the federal government.
