Cardi B is coming to the big screen!
Cardi B is stepping into the film industry. According to TMZ, the “Bartier Cardi” rapper has reportedly landed her first movie role. Details are scarce, but she will began filming in March.
It’s unclear how much Cardi will be getting paid, but close sources have revealed that she has turned down numerous gigs that month that would’ve paid her $100,000 to $200,000 – which leads us to believe that she has been paid generously for her role.
In other news, Cardi recently made Forbes’ 2018 Hip-Hop’s Future Moguls list alongside Post Malone, Lil Pump, 21 Savage, and more. The list honors artists younger than 30 years old who are making major moves in the Hip Hop/Rap industry.
Cardi recently reached another milestone in her career – becoming the first woman with five top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in a single week ever – breaking Beyonce’s record. She is the third act in history to do so.
