Details surrounding Mac Miller’s death have been revealed.

On September 7, Mac Miller was found dead at his San Fernando Valley home. At the time, it was suggested that the “Swimming” rapper had died from a drug overdose, but now an official cause of death has been determined.

Apparently, Miller died from an accidental overdose of Fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed these findings in a statement released Monday.

Miller was discovered on his bed in a “praying position” – “kneeling with his face resting on his knees” by his personal assistant. The assistant described him as “blue” when she placed the 911 call. He was later pronounced dead on the scene.

On the bridge of Miller’s nose there was a 1/4-inch abrasion was found. There was also blood coming out of one nostril. There was an empty bottle of alcohol found on a nightstand near Miller’s body.

In addition, a bottle of prescription pills was found in the bathroom. The pills recovered included Xanax, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and generic Adderall. A rolled up $20 bill with white powdery residue was found in Mac’s right pocket. Also, two baggies with white powder in them were also found in the home.

The amount of each drug wasn’t necessarily lethal, however, the combination of the drugs is what killed Miller.
