Boosie Badazz says he never called Gucci Mane a clone.
When Gucci Mane was first released from prison, it was reported that Boosie Badazz thought he was a clone. Now, in a new interview with the Drea O Show, Boosie got a chance to put the rumors to rest and explain what really happened.
According to Boosie, a fake interview was released that included a fake quote of him stating that he was in the studio with Gucci Mane – who seemed like a completely different person.
Boosie stated, “I ain’t never talked to nobody about Gucci. That was just somebody trying to start forces with two people who got the street. That happen all the time in life. People try to throw crosses. To make people argue.” Around the time the alleged interview was released, Boosie had just done a record for Gucci, but they weren’t together in the studio.
Boosie says he hasn’t seen Gucci in person since he was released. As far as the “clone”, Boosie stated, “It’s basically somebody who wants to start a trend and who want to get people talking. That’s what people do. A lot of people don’t have nothing to do at home, nothing to do in life.”
