Bobbi Kristina Brown will NOT be taken off of life support. Earlier this morning, rumors surfaced online that the Brown and Houston family have chosen to remove Bobbi Kristina from life support at 12 midnight. The reports claimed that Bobbi Kristina’s family wanted her passing to be on the same day Whitney Houston passed, February 11th. Tomorrow will mark the third anniversary of Houston’s death. It was also claimed that Cissy Houston, who has been at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside during this whole ordeal, came to this conclusion over the weekend.
However, these reports are false and very upsetting to the Brown and Houston family. They released a statement to clear up the rumors that numerous sources have posted online.
During a statement today Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Christopher Brown stated “We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended. However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time.
In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be “first” has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence.”
Bobby Brown added “We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers.”
Brown, 21, was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home. She has been in a medically induced coma since the incident happened.
Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, is being investigated by authorities for unexplained bruises and injuries found on her body.
The family has not released any new information regarding Brown’s condition.
