Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, died on Sunday July 26, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia. She was only 22 years old. The Houston family released a statement stating, “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Brown was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home on January 31. She was taken to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, where she was placed in a medically induced coma and put on a ventilator to assist with breathing. The circumstances surrounding the tragic event has led authorities to launch a criminal investigation. Police questioned Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, about bruising on Brown’s chest, and he told them it was a result of giving her CPR.

Brown’s
family has filed a lawsuit against Gordon claiming that he physically abused Bobbi Kristina, and misrepresented himself as her husband in order to have access to her funds. The lawsuit also claims that Gordon stole more than $11,000 from BK’s account while she was in a coma.

Days prior to Bobbi being admitted into the hospital she was very active on social media referring to mother, and how she would follow in her footsteps and pursue a music career.
