Since late 2011 we’ve gotten to know the Bronx born Atlanta raised artist Sy Ari Da Kid. The 31-year-old rapper usually associated with the well-known Atlanta rapper K Camp (known for his hit song Comfortable), has really begun to make a name for himself apart from Camp taking his career to a new level.
This of course begun with signing on as the newest member of the lucrative Cash Money Records. As a result of this deal, the rapper began work on one of his biggest projects alongside Cash Money Records CEO Birdman. The visuals for the track entitled “It’s Calm” were released this week.
Though the full video has just been debuted, this track is definitely something worth listening to. Overall the track “It’s Calm” is a bare description of the lifestyle the rapper leads, allowing his listeners to get a feel for what it’s like in the lime light, at least for a moment.
In short, the track for lack of a better term is pretty chill, and is what most would considered a kind of ballad. This style of rap is certainly something new for longtime fans of Birdman’s more uptempo tones and catchy hook lines However, this track is definitely something worth giving a shot.
