Big Sean and Jhene Aiko will release a second joint album in 2017.
If you enjoyed Big Sean and Jhene Aiko’s first collaborative album, “TWENTY88”, then I have great news for you! Next year, the duo is planning to drop a second TWENTY88 album – which is sure to be as well received as the first one. Sean announced the exciting news via Twitter, writing, “Thank you the next @twenty88 album is coming next year. We gon get our solo’s off too though! #Dons #Soulmates #88.”
A little over a week ago, Sean referred to Aiko as his “lifelong friend.” However, their chemistry is undeniable and it shows in their music. TWENTY88 was released back on April 1, and consisted of 8 tracks, with features guest appearances from K-Ci & JoJo, and recording artist and producer Detail. The project debuted in the top five its first week, and sold 40,000 copies.
Sean also revealed that both he and Aiko are set to release their own individual projects as well.
