I guess all good things really do come to an end. After just eight months of dating, Ariana Grande and Big Sean have decided to part ways. In a joint statement their reps stated, “They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.” The My Last rapper, 27, ended his engagement to Naya Rivera in 2014, claiming she was too controlling and was jealous of the women he worked with and met on tour. The public breakup became very messy, eventually leading to the two ex-lovebirds taking shots at each other on social media.
It’s great to see that his split from Grande isn’t a bad one, at least not yet. A source close to Grande and Big Sean revealed, “They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart for the next year.” Last month, Justin Bieber surprised the Love Me Harder singer on stage at her Honeymoon tour in Miami. Bieber later posted a photo on his Instagram of himself on stage with his arms wrapped around Grande.
An unaffected Big Sean never addressed the matter. One can only wonder if this played any part in their breakup.
