Beyoncé buys her own place of worship.
According to multiple reports, Beyoncé has purchased a huge church in New Orleans. Originally listed for $850,000 it’s unclear if Bey was cut a deal or paid the asking price. Bey’s little sister, Solange, reportedly lives close to where the church is located.
Built in the early 1900s, the church hasn’t been used in awhile due to its church members passing away. Bey may be looking to revamp and renovate the church.
The church is listed as a stone, 7,500 square feet, two bed, two bath building that “Affords many possibilities for redevelopment as a single, multi- family , remaining as a Church, possibility of a commercial usage or many other possibilities.”
Beyoncé will hit the road with Jay-Z this summer for their On The Run II tour.
