BSB member Ronald “Banga” McPhatter was caught in the gunfire at Irving Place and suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was taken to an Manhattan hospital where he was pronounced dead. Now, his mother, Rose McPhatter, has spoken to The New York Daily News and revealed that she is disappointed in the way that Troy Ave handled things after her son was killed.

McPhatter stated, “He actually cared a lot about Troy Ave. My wish is that Troy Ave cared as much about my son as he cared about him. I say that because I watched how my son would always bend over backwards to help him. If he cared about my son as much as he alleged he does, I would’ve received a call from him. He didn’t call me. He didn’t call any of my other sons.” McPhatter’s words do make you wonder though, why didn’t Troy call her??

In other news, T.I. released a statement offering his condolences to Banga’s family, as well as the other victims who were injured in the shooting. T.I. wrote, “My heart is heavy today. Our music is intended to save lives, like it has mine and many others. My heartfelt condolences to the family that suffered the loss & my prayers are with all those injured. Respectfully, Tip.”
