Now, we all know Kanye West can be a little over the top at times. But, I think Ye may have finally met his match.
Australian artist Scott Marsh painted a 20 foot mural of Kanye West kissing himself on a building in Sydney, Australia, and let’s just say Ye isn’t even slightly impressed. The mural is based on a photoshopped picture of Kanye kissing his wife Kim Kardashian, which replaced Kim’s head with Ye’s. It was all fun and games until the photo went viral. Previously, Kanye has asked that the photo be removed from the internet, but clearly that’s impossible nowadays.
When a member of Kanye’s camp offered Marsh a hefty lump sum of money to have the mural taken down, Marsh declined but then devised a plan of his own. Marsh is requesting $100,000 and a lifetime supply of Yeezy Boost sneakers in order to remove the mural from Sydney’s Chippendale neighborhood. Marsh stated, “It’s an open invitation to Kanye. If he buys that print, then I’ll paint over the mural.”
