Michael Shareef Williams, who is moreover known as Michael Watson, surrendered to Atlanta Police yesterday. He has been convicted of murder, aggravated assault with a murderous weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He has been Charged With Sutton Tennyson’s Murder.

Sutton Tennyson was gunned down on his own driveway on November 3rd, last Saturday. It was after an argument with an unknown person “escalated,” according to police. The suspect had fled the scene before the cops arrived. Cops more belatedly discovered him deceased with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

Williams, 44, is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail and no date has been set for his arraignment, according to jail records. A police spokeswoman said their investigation is ongoing, and Williams’ charges may be upgraded if more evidence continues to be found.

Simultaneously, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed an autopsy of Tennyson’s body, but the results won’t be present for 30 to 60 days. Simmons hasn’t yet commented on the arrest. Please continue keeping the Tennyson and Simmons family in your prayers.
