It has been nearly three months since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home. Recently, news broke that she has woken up out of her coma, and is no longer on life support. However, her tracheal tube will remain in place. Although Brown has a long road of recovery ahead of her, this is definitely a step in the right direction.
Brown’s sister, Tina Brown, confirmed the news via Facebook. It is possible that Brown has irreversible brain damage.
The big question still remains, how and why did Brown end up in this situation? According to Nick Gordon’s brother, Jack Walker, he believes Brown tried to commit suicide. In a interview with AJ Calloway from Extra TV he stated, “I guess they went to a club the night before and that’s where it all stemmed… they got in an argument from there and then it carried on to the house and they just went in separate parts of the room, and that’s as far as I know what went on there. I mean, I knew how depressed Kris was, I knew drug use. I mean, all that mixed together with arguments is never, never good.”
Georgia police have opened an investigation to find out what events occured that led up to Brown being hospitalized and if there was any foul play involved. Doctors found multiple injuries on Brown’s body, but one that alerted them the most was a injury to her mouth. It has been reported that Gordon and Brown have physically fought many times in the past.
Gordon has been questioned and is considered a potential suspect.
Walker says his brother has completed drug rehabilitation and that he has been clean for seven weeks.
