Get your snacks and popcorn ready! R & B singers and actresses Brandy and Kelly Rowland will be returning to television with their own shows on the BET network. Rowland who became a judge on the third and final season of The X Factor US, has landed her own show, Chasing Destiny, a singing competition for young women. A representative for BET stated, “As a founding member of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland knows what it takes to win. The talented vocalist, actor and competition judge has joined forces with BET to launch Chasing Destiny, a multiplatform search for the next blazing hot singing sensation that will bring together young women with all that’s required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence.”
As for Brandy, who just wrapped up the last season of BET’S The Game, she decided to take on another scripted role. She will star in her own show Zoe Moon, a romantic comedy centered around the life of a cosmetics mogul/divorcee. So far, no release dates have been revealed.
