G.O.O.D. Music veteran GLC, born Leonard Harris, is planning a major comeback! The Chicago native revealed that he is working his second studio album, The Book Of St Ism, which will be co-executive produced by Dame Dash and Kanye West. During a press release Dame Dash revealed “GLC is the best at what he does. When he played me his music, I knew I wanted to put this album together and I gave Kanye a call and brought him in.”
It’s no secret that GLC grabbed all of our attention with his powerful verses on Kanye West’s songs Spaceships and Drive Slow. In 2010, GLC’s debut album Love, Life, & Loyalty was released. Since doing so, he has also released a number of hit singles and mixtapes.
The talented emcee who is known for his “ism” ideology, plans on fully embracing it on his upcoming album. In a recent interview he stated, “The ism teaches kids and adults to apply themselves and to supply their wealth, all while understanding that the only limitations you’ll ever have are those that you place on yourself.”
