Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert have buried the hatchet! On Friday, during his set at Rolling Loud, Playboi Carti brought out Lil Uzi Vert to perform their Die Lit collaboration “Shoota.” This proved to be quite a memorable moment for the pair, who originally fell out back in 2017.
As Uzi made his way onto the stage, the crowd roared with excitement as the “Money Longer” rapper embraced Carti.
Clearly, at the right place at the right time, Uzi took his verse by storm, rapping, “I gotta tell my bestie / Someone call my bestie/Think I found my bestie.”
Playboi Carti’s debut studio album, Die Lit, arrived in May 2018, making a promising debut at number three on the US Billboard 200. The project featured guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Bryson Tiller, Chief Keef, Travis Scott, Gunna, and more.
Fans have yet to fully understand what caused Carti and Uzi’s feud, but it’s great to see them back on track.
