Marking his first release of 2020, DMV-area linchpin ADÈ returns with a new single and video – ‘DON’T CRY‘ feat. Trevor Jackson.
The Spencer Hord directed visual features a montage of candid depictions centered around what amorous advances take place inside a secret members only lounge, exclusive to associates of the ‘After Hours Club’. Silver Spring, Maryland’s interdisciplinary artist is well-known for his lyrical astuteness and deft rhyme scheme, leaning on witty lyricism and the Grown-ish star’s accompanying guest-verse to produce a romantic rendezvous amidst clubbers.
Transitioning from the dance floor to a on-stage soliloquy as best referenced by Jackson’s tuneful chorus, the assemblage of alluring patrons for an evening’s gathering contributed to ADÈ and Trevor’s infectious aura – discharging a compelling reaction from those in attendance.
‘DON’T CRY’ arrives as a prelude to ADÈ’s forthcoming EP titled wyd after? – set to release this coming Spring.
2019 saw the buzzing tastemaker boasting a six-track effort which featured collaborations with the likes of Lil Baby, Rich The Kid, Wale, Goldlink and Fatman Scoop – reigning in mentions from a number of critically-acclaimed platforms.
With his new project, ADÈ will continue to transcend sound and pervade the airwaves on a global scale, superseding expectations.
