Will Smith Hints At New Album After “Bad Boys for Life” Release

by Quin Stanley

Our favorite Fresh Prince of Bel-Air may have more on the horizon than we expect. This weekend’s highly anticipated release of “Bad Boys for Life” has stirred up many interesting conversations for actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. While Lawrence and his past issues with Tisha Campbell-Martin resurfaced during the “BBFL” press tour, Smith has faced a lighter note of questioning on nostalgic topics, like his previous and upcoming work.

Wednesday (Jan. 15), TMZ posted the official video clip of Smith speaking to a cameraman and hinting at releasing a new album. When asked about a new LP, Smith first commented “Maybe, potentially,” but went on to say “yes sir, yes sir” after being further asked about it.

Recently, Smith has been very vocal about his admiration for music and how he is both inspired and impressed by his son Jaden Smith’s rap career thus far. Smith’s last music project, “Lost and Found,” came in 2005. The 25th anniversary of his first album “Big Willie Style,” which is coming up in November 2022, caused the cameraman to make a great suggestion; Smith should “potentially” drop his album then and we would be here for it.
