JACKBOYS

JACKBOYS GETTING STARTED AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” captioned the since viral tweet that professed Travis Scott’s enthusiasm for his latest project titled ‘JACKBOYS’ – Cactus Jack Records debut compilation album.

Spearheading the role as Cactus Jack Records CEO, the musically astute lyricist known for curating the renowned ASTROWORLD Festival linked up with a few familiar faces with unmasking this collaborative effort. Labelmates Sheck Wes and Don Toliver (Cactus Jack Records) alongside Young Thug, Pop Smoke, two-thirds of Migos (Quavo and Offset) and Latin songstress Rosalía all made an special appearance on ‘JACKBOYS’.

All things considered, the above mentioned should be quite familiar with one another, especially since they were all present last month at Travis Scott’s annual music festival (ASTROWORLD) – an enthralling display of genre-defying acts hand-picked by Travis himself set to take place in his hometown of Houston, Texas.

Pop Smoke has definitely supported the cause as he gleefully paraded through social media sharing brief BTS captures of him and Travis on set of what appears to be a forthcoming music video.

Whether it’s Trav and Pop Smoke’s shared affluent banter as they boast the manner in which they commute as best referenced in ‘GATTI’ or the highly-anticipated ‘HIGHEST IN THE ROOM (REMIX)’ featuring a cohesive utterance of Spanish prose by Rosalía – this seven-track offering and accompanying exclusive merch release should hold fans over until 2020.
