Cardi B has been served.
It looks like Cardi B has more legal woes to deal with. Yesterday, while walking into SOB’s in New York City’s South Village area, the “Money” rapper was served over an alleged attack against a fan at the 2018 Met Gala. Apparently, Cardi was in town to film for her upcoming Netflix series, “Rhythm + Flow.”
In footage captured by The Blast, Cardi can be seen joking around with photographers before a man holds out the legal documents and drops them in front of her. Cardi calmly stepped over the papers and proceeded to walk into SOB’s.
The alleged victim, Giovanni Arnold, has accused both Cardi B and Offset of trying to dodge the lawsuit. Set was served back in August in front of the London NYC, but “unhappy he was served, he threw the documents out the window of his SUV and drove away.”
Arnold claims that he waited a few months for Cardi to give birth before having her served, “Out of respect and consideration for her and her baby’s well being, as well as that of her fiance, Offset, I chose not to immediately serve them.”
Arnold says he suffered injuries to his face, neck, back and body. He is seeking unspecified damages.
