Behind The Scenes Interview With Key Glock At The MBK4L Bag Season Concert

Entrepreneur, music executive and restaurateur Rodney “Ralo” Lewis celebrated his birthday in the most exuberant fashion this past Sunday in Birmingham, Alabama at the BJCC, in curating one of the most talked about shows.

The MBK4L Bag Season Tour featured performances from Lil BabyKey GlockHoodrich Pablo Juan, Project Pat , Pap Chanel, the powerhouse MBK4L roster: Lil BamRudy RuYBN Day DayWhitt & more.

With sounds provided by DJ New Era and DJ Dirty Vegas, hosted by none other than comedian Detroit Reid and Pratt City Savage, the energy provided throughout the night ensured active crowd participation.

QC The Label artist Lil Baby most recently released his fourth mixtape and third project of 2018 entitled Street Gossipfollowing his debut album Harder Than Ever and his project in conjunction with Gunna, Drip Harder.

MBK4L also made their contribution to the hip-hop calendar in releasing a slew on sure-fire hits throughout the 2018 year. Whether it’s the melodic cadence of Lil Bam & YBN Day Day’s Smooth Kriminal  or the ostentatious vibes captured on Bam & Lil Baby’s trap-hit Rapper & Trapper , the label has not disappointed in the slightest and continues to take a progressive approach on putting Alabama on the map.

Paper Route Empire artist Key Glock dropped off a 14-track mixtape entitled Glockoma. Spearheading the role as one of the most influential artist coming out of the state, Glock has not shied away in vocalizing the street rhetoric associated with his intricate lifestyle.

With records like “Russian Cream“, “Dig That” and most recently “Since 6ix” , Glock’s bravado infused with his startlingly impressive lyricism has enabled the artist to garner the attention of many adoring fans. The noblest of men could not permeate the social construct that exist within the trap the way that Glock has done so effortlessly.

Prior to his performance at the MBK4L concert, we were able to sit down with the South Memphis native to discuss the new tape, some of his inspirations & more.
