Kim Porter’s family releases an official statement.
Just one day before Kim Porter is laid to rest, Diddy attended her private funeral home viewing. Yesterday, he was seen walking into a funeral home, with a man who may have been one of Porter’s family members. TMZ was told that they appeared “somber and emotional.”
The Porter, Goodwin, and Combs families issued the following statement to the Associated Press on Friday, “God broke the mold when he made Kim, there was truly no other woman like her. Although her time here on earth was far too short, she lived a life full of purpose and meaning. She was a loving mother and devoted friend. She was the epitome of kindness and grace.”
They added, “There wasn’t a person she met who’s soul she did not touch. Kim was the type of woman who changed lives for the better. Although we’ve lost our best friend, God has gained a special angel and we know she is watching over us.”
The statement ended with, “She will be forever remembered and missed by so many. As a family, we promise to honor her every day of our lives. We love you always. The Porter, Goodwin and Combs families.”
Today, Porter will be buried at Cascade Hills Church in Columbus, Georgia. Last week, she was found unresponsive in her Los Angeles home. A cause of death has yet to be determined. She was only 47 years old.
