Watch Mya’s “Damage” video.
Mya has been in the game for quite some time, and she clearly has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. Today, she shares a video for her seductive track, “Damage”, which is a track featured on her 2018 album, TKO (The Knockout).
In the new video, that has been choreographed by Galen Hooks, Mya is seen enticingly dancing in a room like no one is watching. (Hooks has worked with Rihanna, Usher, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and more.)
While speaking to Complex, Mya explained the meaning behind Damage, “Damage’ is about taking risks, stepping into new territory regardless of the outcome. This thing we call love has always been tricky and as beautiful as it can be, we can potentially lose ourselves in it.”
“With the good often comes the bad. That’s life and it’s scary. But the song expresses that with an intense passion and yearning, I’m willing to risk it all for that special one who sets my soul and desire on fire, despite the potential damage it may bring.”
