Authorities are trying to find out why Offset fled the scene of his car accident.
Yesterday, Offset was involved in a single car accident in Atlanta that left him with minor scrapes and bruises. After crashing his bright green Challenger, the “Drip” rapper reportedly got out of the vehicle and fled the scene without calling the police first.
At some point, a passerby vehicle called police to the scene, but when they arrived Offset was already gone. When a tow truck arrived to the scene, another car pulled up with two people who retrieved items out of Offset’s vehicle before it was taken away. One of the men was reportedly heard saying that Offset crashed his car while swerving to avoid hitting a pedestrian that had out in front of him.
According to TMZ, there were no victims, witnesses or damage to any other vehicles. Police are currently trying to find out as many details as possible, and they have yet to confirm that Offset was actually behind the wheel.
