Juelz Santana is facing 20 years in prison.
Back in March, Juelz Santana attempted to bring a gun on a plane at Newark Liberty International Airport. The 36 year old “Clockwork” rapper is now dealing with the consequences of his actions.
On Wednesday, federal prosecutors indicted Santana on two felony convictions: carrying a firearm on an aircraft and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Santana faces up to twenty years in prison for each charge.
On March 9th, Santana fled the airport, leaving all of his belongings behind, including eight oxycodone pills in his luggage. He was charged with both weapon and drug possession.
In the beginning of April, Santana posted $500,000 bail and was ordered to wear an ankle monitor and remain on house arrest at his mother’s residence.
