Toni Braxton details her and Birdman’s upcoming wedding.
After slamming dating rumors for months, Toni Braxton finally opened up about her relationship with Birdman during season 6 of Braxton Family Values. Apparently, the two stars, who started off as good friends, are madly in love and plan on tying the knot some time in the near future.
While speaking to People, Braxton revealed that she wants their wedding day to be an elegant, 1920’s-themed affair – similar to The Great Gatsby, “This is my second wedding, and I’m over 40. It’s like Carrie Bradshaw, the last bride. It’ll be elegant and a little sexy.”
Back in January, Braxton, 50, told Angie Martinez, that despite the way everyone perceive’s Birdman, 49, he’s in fact a sweetheart, “He’s been my bestie for like 15 or 16 years. Things went from platonic to romantic in 2016 amid her health woes brought on by lupus. “Every day I had a show, he came. He’s a gentleman. He’s such a gentleman. Opening doors … I promise you.”
Braxton also says Birdman is “very traditional.”
