XXXTentacion’s old violent tendencies continue to haunt him.
XXXTentacion is at the height of his career right now, but unfortunately he’s in the headlines for a different reason. Earlier this week, a video of XXX slapping a woman upside her head surfaced, and fans are not happy about it, especially because he has a history of domestic violence towards women.
Some fans speculated that XXX may have been playing around with the female in the leaked footage. But the woman has since come forward to address the incident and give her side of the story.
Apparently, XXX was very serious when he hit her on the side of the head – it was no “love tap” and the two of them were not just joking around like XXXTentacion’s attorney, Jaclyn Broudy, suggested.
“For those questioning why I didn’t come forth earlier was because I was terrified for my life. Imagine someone doing that to you unprovoked? At 16? Let alone the people he associates himself w/? Truth of the matter is I would still be holding on to this secret if it wasn’t leaked.” The woman also made it clear that she didn’t leak the video, and she isn’t looking for “clout” like many of XXX’s fans have accused her of.
As expected, Broudy came to X’s defense, telling TMZ that “the video was taken completely in jest.”
