Freebandz is that label that every rapper wants to be a part of. Go on social media and you’ll see that the FBG Gang is an entire movement filled with many affiliates and a worldwide audience from different corners of the globe.
As an artist and executive, Future definitely seems to have a Midas touch. He’s the guy everyone seems to go to when they need a hit. If you want to be heard by the CEO of Freebandz, Casino is your guy. The charming rapper, who is set to release his highly anticipated album, “Disrespectful”, wears the hat of both an Executive, an A&R and an artist.
Casino is constantly getting flooded with requests to listen to music and while most people get annoyed with up and coming artists hitting them up on social media, Casino says he doesn’t mind it. “I try to listen to a lot of people’s music actually when they hit me with their links. You never know who the next star is. I mean, everybody deserves a chance. People have dreams and they’re out here pursuing their goals. It’s a hustle I could never be mad about it. I like to give people chances that’s part of being a real music executive.”
“We have a real label and an infrastructure set up. We have a beautiful world class state of the art recording studio that’s unbelievable. It’s incredible you have to see it to believe it and we have a process of in house artist development, marketing, management and just everything that an artist needs to really develop, grow and become a star. If you believe in someone you’ll understand that. It’s a close knit family environment and we really care about the well- being of the people we work with.”
Casino added, “I think that’s what makes Freebandz different from any other label. You’re around people who motivate you to be your best not just through your work but in your personal life and well-being. You won’t find that in a lot of other companies but you will at Freebandz.”
Casino has had a great month as his song, “Deal”, featuring 21 Savage has been trending. When asked how it was working with 21 Savage, Casino says it was easy, “It was easy to get 21 Savage on the track because he’s a good friend of mine and we work well together. So it was just natural and it came out pretty good.
When I saw the song was trending I just told Bleezy (Jus Bleezy) that we had to keep it going. I’m back and I’m ready. A lot of people are going to like this album because it’s a mixture of a lot of things but its still very focused. We have trap, reggae, and different sounds on this one. You’re gonna love it.”
