Ensa Cosby passes away.
Bill Cosby is mourning the loss of his daughter, Ensa, 44, who died on Friday in Massachusetts. Andrew Wyatt, a spokesperson for the Cosby family, released the following statement confirming the saddening news, “The Cosby Family thanks many people for their prayers for their beloved and beautiful Ensa, who recently died from renal disease.”
Renal disease is a chronic kidney disease associated with the gradual loss of kidney function, and is often caused by diabetes.
In 2014, when Cosby was first accused of sexual assault, Ensa publicly supported him and maintained his innocence. Last year she released the following statement, “My father has been publicly lynched in the media and my family, my young daughter, my young niece and nephew have had to stand helplessly by and watch the double standard or pretending to protect the rights of some but ignoring the rights of others.”
Ensa added, “I strongly believe my father is innocent of the crimes alleged against him and I believe that racism has played a big role in all aspects of this scandal.”
Sadly,1997, Cosby loss his son, Ennis, 27, who was murdered by an 18 year old in a failed robbery attempt.
