Young Thug Announces No New Music in 2018, Honoring Deaf Brother

by inyaearstaff

If you are patiently awaiting some new Young Thug music, it appears you will be waiting til 2019 to hear some thing brand new. During an interview with Hyperbeast at New York Fashion Week, Young Thug has announced that he will not be releasing any new music in 2018. The decision is in attempt to pay homage to his deaf brother.

“I got a deaf brother,” he explains. “I got a brother that can’t hear, so I want to act deaf for a year. I ain’t going to put out no music this year.”

Will this decision stick? Well personally we most likely won’t receive new Young Thug music as a solo effort; however, that doesn’t mean that we won’t hear new music from Young Thug thanks to other artists featuring the ATL hit maker on their projects. With streaming as popular as it is, Thugger will do just fine financially.
