Eminem slams Donald Trump during the BET Award’s cypher.
It’s no secret that Eminem has had a bone to pick with the newly elected President Donald Trump since being sworn into office last year.
The diamond selling recording artist took to television for his latest shot at the Leader of the Free World as he delivered a wide awaken freestyle directed at Trump during last Sunday’s BET Hip Hop Awards.
Making his third appearance on the BET annual cypher, Eminem spits his most unforgettable freestyle yet as he blast the President –
questioning Trump’s integrity, morals, and decisions while using creative wordplay including references to the Marvel’s Fantastic Four, the NFL, and many more. Em also took a moment in his rant to pay homage to former NFL quarterback Colin Kapnernick.
Twitter quickly erupted with praise for the Hip-Hop chosen “Rap God.” Tweets from fellow high-profile Hip-Hop recording artists like J. Cole, Snoop Dogg, and Diddy saluted Slim Shady on speaking out for the culture.
Shortly after the airing of the BET Awards, Eminem released the complete freestyle in a new song titled, “The Storm” on streaming platforms everywhere – following claims of a new Eminem album coming soon. An official release date for the album has yet to be announced.
