Master P loves the kids.
Earlier this week, Master P and his foundation, Team Hope, hosted a charity basketball event at Xavier University in Louisiana, where he recruited a number of young basketball players, and gifted 10 inner city kids with various scholarships. Proceeds from the event went towards the scholarship fund.
R&B girl group, June’s Diary, opened the event singing the national anthem, while Master P’s daughter, Cymphonique, and Southern Band performed during halftime.
In the end, Team NOLA ended up winning the game. Seven year old Dequante Hobbs Jr. was given the MVP award from Romeo.
