iLoveMakonnen gets back in the studio for “Line 2” and “Lonely Girl.”
Just in time for the summer, iLoveMakonnen returns to the music scene with two new tracks, “Line 2” and “Lonely Girl.” Both tracks were produced by Brenton Duvall, and showcase Makonnen’s desperate search to find companionship.
Lonely Girl is somewhat of a ballad dedicated to a special lady, and displays Makonnen’s unmistakable singing style, while Line 2 is a freestyle, where Makonnen gives it his all and completes the track in one take.
In the song’s description section on Soundcloud, Makonnen wrote, “Prod. ILOVEMAKONNEN x Brenton Duvall. One take freestyle. Motivational music for ILOVEMAKONNEN fans. Congratulations to everyone graduating in 2017. Hope you have a safe fun summer!”
It’s unclear if the songs will appear on an upcoming project. In the meantime, rock out to both records below.
