A limousine company is suing Jason Derulo for allegedly vandalizing one of their vehicles.
American Limo Services is suing Jason Derulo for nearly $10,000 for damaging one of their Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans.
On March 17, a driver from the company picked up Derulo and his friends to take them to a club gig in Cook County. Things turned ugly while the “Trumpets” singer was being escorted back to his Los Angeles home.
According to Lonnie Reynolds of ALS, Derulo demanded that the driver pull up to his front door.
Once the driver explained to him that he couldn’t due to the trees in the way, Derulo and his entourage became enraged and reportedly “went ballistic, using pieces of broken glass to stab seats and scratch windows. Continuing with their attack on inanimate objects, they also allegedly punched the stereo system in the limo.”
Despite Reynold’s claims, sources close to Derulo say he wasn’t present in the van when the incident occurred. American Limo Services is asking for $9,490 in damages.
Derulo has yet to release a statement.
