Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez breaks her silence.
In an upcoming two part interview with Dr. Phil, Aaron Hernandez’s fiance, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, will open up and discuss the former New England Patriots player’s death.
Last month, Hernandez was pronounced dead after he was found hanging from a sheet in his cell only days days after a jury found him not guilty in a South Boston double murder. His death was ruled a suicide.
According to Dr. Phil’s official website, “Jenkins-Hernandez sets the record straight about her fiancé’s mysterious jail cell death, rumors about his purported secret romantic life, and if she thinks he killed himself so that she could collect millions of dollars.”
Sadly enough, Jenkins was just as shocked as fans were to learn of his death. She recalls receiving the disturbing call on April 19, “I thought it was a hoax, that this was some cruel person playing a trick on me.”
Jenkins also revealed that she had no clue Hernandez was feeling suicidal, especially being that her last conversation with him went quite well, “I felt like we were looking so bright. We were going up a ladder to a positive direction. Our last talk had nothing to do with suicidal thoughts.”
The episodes air Monday, May 15th and Tuesday, May 16th.
