Bobby Shmurda is working for peanuts at the Clinton Correctional Facility.
Back in October, Bobby Shmurda was sentenced to 7 years in prison for conspiracy and weapons charges. Being that Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, 19, will be behind bars for quite some time, he has decided to work in the commissary at Clinton Correctional Facility – where’s he currently incarcerated.
The “Bobby Bitch” rapper is reportedly making 10 to 25 cents a day, which reaches a grand total of less than 8 bucks at the end of the week. Clearly, this is a huge step down from the hundreds of thousands of dollars that Shmurda was making before his incarceration.
To say the least, Shmurda’s time in prison has been no walk in the park. In November, he was placed in protective custody after getting into a fight in the mess hall.
Shmurda spent 30 days in isolation, lost his phone privileges, and was banned from purchasing anything from the commissary.
