After being on the run for months, Brisco has been arrested.

On Wednesday, rapper Brisco was arrested on eight federal charges linked to identity theft, fraud and selling counterfeit currency. The U.S. Secret Service has been trying to apprehend Brisco for awhile now for allegedly taking part in an credit card fraud ring based in South Carolina. The fraud ring reportedly ran from November 2015 to August 2016.

Investigators claim that Brisco is responsible for at least $200,000 worth of criminal activity. Apparently, Brisco bought items from local home improvement stores, then sold them to contractors at a lower price to generate a profit. During this time, Brisco also led police on two high speed car chases in Broward County and Miami-Dade County, but both pursuits were called off due to safety concerns.

Brisco was apprehended earlier this week at The Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club in Hallandale Beach while attempting to throw fake money at strippers. This time around, Brisco didn’t resist being arrested.

If convicted, he faces at least two years and nine months in federal prison. It’s unclear at this time if Brisco will fight the charges. He is currently being held in a Fort Lauderdale jail with no bail.

Brisco is signed to Cash Money Records and associated with Poe Boy Entertainment. He has worked with the likes of Rick Ross, DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne.
