A concert promoter is suing Wale for $25,000.
Over the summer, Wale skipped out on a show in New York City, and is now facing the costly consequences. Concert promoter, Upfront and Personal Global, hired the 32 year old “Lotus Flower Bomb” rapper, and paid him ahead of time to perform.
Upfront and Personal Global says that Wale signed a contract and received two wire transfers for $12,500 each. However, the day of the show, Wale was a no-show. To make matters worst, Wale never gave an explanation as to why he never showed up for the gig, nor did he issue a refund to the company.
Now, Upfront and Personal Global is suing Wale for $25,000, plus interest.
Wale has yet to publicly address the matter.
