Tyga is making an effort to get out of debt.
Tyga has reportedly payed off half of a $200,000 debt that he owes to jeweler Jason Arasheben. Back in 2013, Arasheban filed a lawsuit against Tyga after he failed to pay off his six-figure jewelry expenses.
Now, Tyga’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, is reporting that the 26 year old “Faded” rapper has paid $100,000 of the $200,000 he owes, plus interest. He will pay the remaining balance by November 17. Holley told PEOPLE, “There has been substantial payment on the outstanding judgment and we expect for the balance to be paid before the next court date.”
Last month, Tyga suddenly became ill in court when he was questioned about his finances – specifically, how much money he spends on his high maintenance girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. Tyga reportedly became confused, and lost his memory – then revealed to his lawyer that he couldn’t go on any further.
Just in case you guys are wondering, Tyga is using his own money to pay off his debts – not Kylie’s, nor her family.
