Desiigner was booed during his halftime performance at Philadelphia’s 76ers game.
Time and time again, Desiigner keeps his fans on the edge of their seats with his erratic and amusing performances. However, last night, they weren’t around for his foolishness.
While performing his breakthrough single, “Panda” during halftime for the 76ers opening game, the crowd relentlessly booed Desiigner. It’s unclear as to what triggered the negative energy from fans – maybe Desiigner’s energy was too much to deal with, or maybe they would’ve preferred a Philadelphia rapper like Meek Mill to take the stage instead. (Desiigner is from Brooklyn).
After the disappointing performance, Twitter users roasted Desiigner, writing, “Get that mumble rap the f*ck outta here. Thank you Philly” and “Awful halftime performance by Desiigner. Booed off the court with his jeans down to his ankles & he ripped his shirt off.” I think it’s fair to say that Desiigner won’t be heading back to Philly anytime soon.
