Ciara has a bun in the oven!
After weeks of speculation, Ciara finally confirmed that she and Russell Wilson are expecting their first child together. CiCi made the big announcement last night, which was also the “Jackie” singer’s 31st birthday.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Ciara wrote, “On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I’m excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give… 👶🏽🍼💃🏽☺️❤️.”
Wilson followed up with his very own Instagram post, writing, “The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay.” Ciara has a 2 year old son, Future Zahir Wilburn, with ex-boyfriend Future. Wilson doesn’t have any children, but has always expressed his excitement to start a family with Ciara.
In July, Wilson told Bossip, “I think ultimately, the one thing I can say about being a step-dad and any person that’s a parent – but especially when you come into a new situation – the key is loving the child as your own. That’s the biggest thing. I want to have a bunch of kids – me and Ci do. I think that ever since the first day I ever met Ciara and Little Man, too, it’s been really cool and really special.”
He added, “Ciara’s such a great mom. She reads to him every night. I read to him too, and we just share so many special moments together. That’s what family is all about. Ultimately, it’s about giving back and loving as much as you can to your fullest. That’s what you’re able to do together.”
CiCi has yet to announce her due date.
