Tyson Gay’s daughter, Trinity Gay, was shot and killed.
Around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, Tyson Gay’s 15 year old daughter, Trinity Gay, was gunned down. The Olympic sprinter’s daughter was hit by a stray bullet during a shootout that took place in a Lexington, Kentucky parking lot.
Witnesses reported that gunfire had been exchanged between two vehicles – sadly, Trinity was hit in the crossfire. She was rushed to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the neck. Shortly after, she was pronounced dead.
Since then, three Kentucky men, including a father and son, have been arrested. Chazarae and D’markeo Taylor, 38 and 19, were arrested and charged with wanton endangerment. A third man, Dvonta Middlebrooks, was later arrested and charged with wanton endangerment along with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the shooting.
