French Montana’s “MC4” album may never see the light of day.
After a number of setbacks and bumps in the road, fans were excited to learn that French Montana’s sophomore album, “MC4”, would hit shelves on August 19. However, shortly before its release, Montana announced that the album would be delayed once again.
Via Twitter, Montana wrote, “Due to some sample clearances that are still being worked out, I have to move the album release date. I want to apologize to my fans that are waiting, I want to make sure the album is something special.” Since then, fans have been patiently waiting for the project to drop. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear too promising.
A quick check on iTunes revealed that the album pre-order has been taken down – which means that MC4 won’t be available this month as promised. Montana nor Epic Records has yet to address the situation, but I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath.
