Lil Bibby is furthering his education.
Yesterday, the 22 year old Chicago rhymer revealed via social media that he will be enrolling in college to study computer engineering. In a video posted onto Instagram, Bibby stated, “I got it all mapped out. I’m on my sh*t. They think I’m bullsh*tting. I’m going to college, man. I got two college visits today. They tryna give me full scholarships. I ain’t gone tell you the names of the colleges, but I got two today.”
Bibby went on to say, “I gotta do a few shows and when I come back, I’m going to ISU (Illinois State University). I’m gonna go check out the campus and meet with a couple of the staff. Just to let you know I’m not bullsh*tting.”
“I’m going to school for computer engineering. I’ma do two years first. If I get pass them two, I’ma f*ck around and go back for the other two.”
Bibby first teased the idea of going to college last year after earning his high school diploma. Bibby showed off his diploma on Instagram, writing, “F*ck it I’m going to College #UCLA I’m Otw…. I would like to dedicate this to @Realsway @thehappyhourwhb my Moms and Gma… Knowledge is Power…. And f**k all of my teachers that ever failed me.” It’s nice to see that Bibby is following through with his life goals.
